Abstract

As executive director of the Maine Immigrant Rights Coalition,Mufalo Chitam's busy days may be filled with anything from Census summits to arranging distribution of diapers. Her own experiences as an immigrant helps fuel her compassion and understanding of the issues that new Mainers face.
