Abstract

A collection of articles spanning this entire issue of the magazine, produced in honor of Maine's bicentennial. Articles range in length from a few lines to a few pages, with copious drawings and photos throughout. Includes personal essays and musings, profiles, instructional pieces, etc. Subjects include all manner of Maine people, places, and things, such as "The Sound of Blueberries Hitting a Pail;" "Covered Bridges;" "Shipwrecks as Landmarks;" "Acadia's Other 25 Peaks;" and "The Wyeth Mystique."
