Photos and snippets describe three homes recently on the market in Maine: in Brewer, the childhood home of Joshua Chamberlain, Civil War general, Maine governor, and president of Bowdoin College; in Limerick, the home of John McDonald, general in the War of 1812 and member of Maine's first state senate; in Bath, the summer home of William King, general in the War of 1812 and Maine's first governor.
