Abstract
The story of the breeding colony of Leach's storm-petrels on Great Duck Island. Describes these endangered - and aromatic - birds, as well as the challenges of climate change and human interference which threaten them. Also describes the challenges posed to researches by the remote location of the colony and the elusive nature of the birds.
