Abstract

A description of the SeaChange: Darkness & Light in the Gulf of Maine, an installation by the Gulf of Maine EcoArts Collective featured at the Maine Maritime Museum. Describes the two main rooms of the installation, one depicting the growing horrors of pollution, climate change, and overfishing; the second a conceptualization of Cashes Ledge, an underwater mountain range in the Gulf of Maine. Also describes smaller satellite exhibits around the main areas.
