"Letters" piece commenting on the Portland Public Library's plan to relocate to the former Public Market building, noting that the same neighborhood dynamics that caused the market to close are still in place. The neighborhood surrounding the market makes people feel at risk, and it will kill any business - public or private. The City of Portland needs to address these issues.
