Abstract

Profile of Jean Symonds, who moved to Corea from Washington D.C. in 1970, and began her lobster fishing career the next year. Symonds began with five donated traps and a rowboat and worked her way up to hauling 500 traps. Symonds, now 68, continues to fish.
