Abstract
George Baker, a seasonal resident of Frenchboro, researched the feasibility of wind energy for the Swan's Island and Fox Islands electric co-ops and presented his findings to islanders. Vinalhaven and North Haven voters authorized the Fox Islands co-op to pursue the wind-power financing plan he outlined. He has given presentations on Peaks Island and elsewhere and was hired to develop a plan for Monhegan Island.
