Abstract
Sam and Doreen Cabot's Foggy Meadow Farm, located on North Haven is featured in this article. They raise 80 sheep and goats and feed the hay they harvest off their farm, noting the salt hay is preferred. They sell primarily to islanders, however are seeking to expand to sell their goat meat in Portland markets. The in the mid-1800s, the number of sheep outnumbered the population and Boston was a big market. [images]
