Abstract
While housing is plentiful on Maine's Islands, they are often second homes and either unavailable, or financially beyond the reach of many Maine residents. Cranberry Isle Realty Trust formed in the late 1990's to address this issue, as the island needed year-round residents to preserve its way of life. How this organization operates and some of the residents that benefit from its work is featured. [images]
