Abstract

Profile of Zain Padamsee who, in 2015, become Frenchboro's new Island Fellow. Born in Bangladesh, he was raised in Gorham by his American mother, who moved the family to Peaks Island when he was in middle school. First as a Fellow and then as a sternman on a lobster boat, he learned how to live in island society, despite not always feeling like a Mainer or an islander.
