Abstract
A brief overview of the ways in which the Wabanaki people traveled about their lands, following the seasons. Some traditional place names hold clues to what different island areas were used for. The arrival of European settlers decimated the indigenous population and caused radical changes in how the Wabanaki supported themselves.
