Abstract

The Island Institute's Tom Glenn Community Impact Fund grants helped several small businesses weather the pandemic shutdowns. The $1,500 business resilience grants helped business owners create websites and online experiences, take professional development classes, and purchase equipment. Of the 95 grant recipients, several are featured here, including Cranberry Oysters of Great Cranberry Island; Dulse and Rugosa of Sullivan; Projectemmersive, Biddeford; Vinalhaven's Maine Magic Mud; and Chebeague Lobster Co.
