Abstract
A look at how the Illustration Institute on Peaks Island came to be. The brainchild of illustrator Scott Nash and artist Nancy Gibson-Nash, the nonprofit sanctuary for artists working in animation, illustration, cartooning, and other narrative arts was founded in 2016 and offers residencies by invitation. Residents are in turn asked to share with the community, whether through workshops or presentations.
