    Abstract

    The 10,000 Girl Scouts who sold Little Brownie Bakers cookies throughout southern and central Maine last month were confronted with scandal when their Samoa cookies turned out to have rock-like density. In a show of integrity, they sent out public briefings on how to remedy the condition (5 seconds in the microwave) or return the cookies for exchange.
