    Abstract

    Portland area commercial real estate enjoyed a banner year in 1995. Real estate brokers report excellent sales and a bright future. The only problem forseen is UNUM's upcoming decision about renewing its 250,000 square feet of office space, which could profoundly affect lease rates. Class A and B vacancy rates have both declines, to 7 percent and 12 percent respectively, and lease rates have risen. Details.
