    Abstract

Eleven hundred tourists aboard the Dolphin Cruise Line steamed into Portland on May 14th, and the state did everything possible to make them feel welcome during their six-hour port of call. Even Governor Angus King showed up to welcome them. The ship will vist Portland 21 times this summer, and the Queen Elizabeth II will also visit. Portland Waterfront Manager Bill Giroux and Marine Terminal Manager Tom Valleau credit good marketing with bringing the ships and their millions of tourist dollars.
