Abstract

Interview with Carl Pabst, founder and owner of Lean on Me, a one-man shop making hand-crafted canes and walking sticks in Portland. He began making his own canes when he was injured in a 1985 Civic Center accident. His canes often incorporate polished stones. Business is booming.
