Abstract

"Focus on health care." It has been more than 20 years sinces a new hospital has opened in Maine, but in the next two months, two--Bridgton Hospital and Mid Coast Hospital--will. However, Mid Coast Health Care, the parent of one, currently serves 80,000 patients from Freeport to Richmond and will increase its outpatient services more than its inpatient services. Bridgton also has fewer beds than the facility it's replacing. Details.
