Abstract

First quarter exports from Maine in 1996 are up 15 percent from 1995. The Maine World Trade Association predicts Maine will remain among the top 10 states in export growth. On August 1, the MWTA will combine with two other state-funded organizations: the International Division of the Department of Economic and Community Development, and the Maine Education and Training Export Partnership. This year, MWTA will train 1500 Mainers to do business overseas. Details.
