Abstract

A decade ago, Harvard Business School made a videotape of the Portland String Quartet to demonstrate an excellent democratic management model. At the time, PSQ was one of the longest-running quartets in America, and today it continues to perform at venues ranging from upstate youth concerts to the new Portland Conservatory of Music.
