Abstract

"In Short." The Downtown Portland Corporation approved three new loans: $65,000 to help State of the Arts, Inc., keep the State Theater alive; $20,000 for Common Sense Designs to open its factory outlet on Congress Street; and $10,000 to one of the newest Old Port women's clothing stores, Island Expressions. To date, DPC has created $53 million in new development for Portland.
