Abstract

"New Entrepreneurs" interview piece with Shay Bellas, owner of The Language Connection in South Portland, which "connects children with foreign language through play." She works with children from birth through age five, and currently teaches French, Spanish, and American Sign Language with the help of three teachers who are independent contractors. She has locations in Portland and Yarmouth and wants to expand to Brunswick and to add two more languages.
