Abstract

"Business Maine: Central & Western" piece on a new report by the State Planning Office that shows retail sales growing in most of Maine for the third quarter, except in the Downeast region, which posted a decline of 2.7 percent from the previous year. Weak tourism spending was blamed for the decline.
