Abstract

"Business Maine" piece on an announcement by Richard Batt, president of Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington, that due to cuts in MaineCare, the state's Medicaid system, the hospital will cut staff and eliminate certain equipment. Rite Aid and Community Pharmacies stores are reducing their pharmacy hours and cutting staff to absorb the reduction in reimbursement rate.
