Abstract

Article featuring excerpts from the Mainebiz 10th anniversary symposium held May 25 at the Portland Museum of Art. Panelists discussed the future of Maine's natural resource-based economy. Panelists included: Pat Flood, northern region operations manager for International Paper's Forest Resources and Forest Products divisions; Walter Graff, deputy director of the Appalachian Mountain Club; Roxanne Quimby, founder of Burt's Bees and a northern Maine landowner; and Jeff Rowe, outgoing executive director of the Maine Campground Owners Tourism Commission.
