Abstract
"Building & real estate" piece describing the major makeover of the Maine Department of Transportation's headquarters building in Augusta. Built in 1976, the 120,000 square-foot building suffered from serious mold problems among other things. The renovation cost $8.5 million, and the architect for the project was H. L. Turner Group of Concord, New Hampshire, and Harrison, Maine. H. E. Sargent of Stillwater was general contractor.
