His guide business is a four-season operation that attracts about 15,000 visitors a year to its three separate facilities. NEOC offers everything from tent sites to elegant country inn lodging and a gourmet restaurant and activities from ranging rafting and kayaking to wildlife watching. NEOC helps diversify the area's economy and break down the region's traditional fear of tourism, and its $400,000 payroll boosts the economy.
