Abstract

"New Entrepreneurs" piece on Mark Maguire, co-owner with Patrick Wallingford of 2nd Life Tools LLC in Hollis and Westbrook. The company is an online listing service for the sale and purchase of preowned equipment from machine shops, auto garages, dealerships, and similar companies. Although most of the listings are from Maine, the owners hope to expand into other states. They charge a flat fee to list on the site and their only competition is eBay, which is much broader and more massive in scope.
