Abstract

"Step Ahead." Continuation of the saga of Richard Sampson's 1954 Corvette. It turns out that the car had originally been purchased as a gift for his wife, Mary, who was not impressed. Sampson entombed it at his Brunswick supermarket, and by the time Mary learned that it was a valuable antique, rust had all but destroyed it.
