Abstract

Article on Portland-based web design company Image Works, with a focus on its development of an educational content software platform called XhibitNet. After working with the Gulf of Maine Research Institute on the project, Image Works received a National Science Foundation grant to develop prototype exhibits at the Orlando Science Center in Florida. Dana Hutchins, founder and owner of Image Works, hopes to secure a foothold in the interactive museum exhibit market.
