Abstract

"MBA '05" piece profiling and querying six soon-to-be MBAs on the value of their degree, including Scott Stevenson, 38, a student at the University of Southern Maine School of Business in Portland and director of operations at Modern Pest Services in Brunswick, a company founded by his grandfather. In a company with six offices and 110 employees, Stevenson says an MBA will help him better manage employees and direct growth. A team project at the school created a framework to help his company determine where its next service center should go.
