Abstract
Profiles of five Maine entrepreneurs who balance full-time professional jobs with their own startup ventures. Those profiled are: Brian Fish, a software project manager who designs and builds wood-frame beach chairs for his side business, Oh Yeah Comfy; Margaret Minister O'Keefe, a Portland attorney and founder of m. minister, a clothing line featuring skirts; C. Waite Maclin, an ordained Episcopal priest who runs a private therapy and consulting practice, and also produces Pastor Chuck's Apple Butter; Eric Carson, the director of economic development in Westbrook and owner of Royal River Winery; and Dan Marois, a health care marketing executive whose side business is running Mystery for Hire, a murder mystery dinner theater troupe.
