Abstract

"Business Maine: Central & Western" piece reporting that custom shoe producer New England Orthotic and Diabetic Shoe Corp. recently announced plans to occupy space in the former G.H. Bass shoe factory in Wilton. The company hopes to be operational by mid-July, and to have 17 employees by the end of next year. The company chose to locate in Wilton because of the area's trained and available workforce.
