Abstract

"Business Maine: Statewide" piece reporting that a recent Maine Office of Tourism survey found that while tourists are satisfied with the daytime activities available in Maine, they're disappointed by the lack of nighttime entertainment. State tourism advisors are unconcerned by the results, noting that visitors don't come to Maine for nightclubs and casinos. Dann Lewis, Maine's tourism director, is working to promote cultural attractions as a way to revive tourism patterns.
