Abstract

"Focus on Greater Portland Region" piece on the effect it will have on the mainland communities if Peaks Island and Chebeague Island secede from Portland and Cumberland respectively. Cliff Island is also considering seceding from Portland, and Chebeague would take with it more than a dozen smaller islands from the town of Cumberland. With a breakdown of financial figures related to the possible secessions.
