Abstract

"Step Ahead." The six sculpted granite boulders that comprise a larger-than-life serpent in Portland's Congress Square Park are on loan from artist Carole Hanson. It's quickly become an urban institution. A gallery owner is already looking for donors who might purchase it and give it to the city.
