Abstract

"Focus: Midcoast Region" piece featuring an interview in question-and-answer format with Bob Walden, manager of prison industries at the Maine State Prison in Warren. The prison industries program produces wood products like bureaus, bookshelves and model ships built by prisoners. Currently 180 prisoners participate in the program, earning between $1 an hour to $3 an hour.
