    Abstract

    "Business Maine: Southern" piece reporting that the developers proposing to remake the Saco Island mill complex are asking city officials in Saco for a big tax break. Saco Island LLC are requesting a tax increment financing district that would return $35 million to them over 30 years. The developers say the tax break is essential to making the $100 million redevelopment plan financially feasible.
