Abstract

"Business Maine: Southern" piece on recent approval of a tax break for developers planning to remake the old Lockwood mill complex that includes the former C.F. Hathaway Shirt Co. in Waterville. Under a 25-year tax increment financing plan, the city will refund 75 percent of the development's property taxes to developers Niemann Capital and Paul Boghossian.
