Abstract

"Business Maine: Central & Western" piece reporting that Auburn city officials said they want a $2 million federal tax credit to help convert a former bottling plant into housing. The Auburn Housing Authority plans to turn the vacant Vincent Bottling Co. building into a 17-unit apartment complex for the elderly and disabled. If the city receives funding, it expects to open the renovated building in 2008.
