    Abstract

    "Business Maine: Northern" piece on two recent proposals before the state's Land Use Regulation Commission (LURC). LURC officials began reviewing development plans for by Seattle-based Plum Creek, which is proposing 975 house lots, two resorts and additional development for land near Greenville. The review is expected to take at least a year. Meanwhile, LURC also began reviewing Millinocket businessman and selectman Matt Polstein's proposal to develop a $50 million resort and residential complex in the Katahdin region.
