Abstract

The VIA Group, a Portland-based advertising and marketing company founded by John Coleman eight years ago, had four national offices and one office in Switzerland before a dot.com implosion and the 9/11 attacks forced a scale-back in 2001. VIA now successfully operates from Portland, Boston, and New York City, and was chosen to market the World Trade Center properties and the Empire State Building, based on its innovative, problem-solving style and ability to attract top-tier talent.
