Abstract

Maine Biotech will host a pavilion at the BIO International biotech trade show in Boston in hopes of attracting networking, promoting and recruiting. As the umbrella organization for the Biotechnology Association of Maine and the Center for Innovation in Biotechnology, the pavilion will include 22 companies and organizations ranging from The Jackson Laboratory in Bar Harbor to six-employee EastCoast Bio in North Berwick. With comments by Doug McAllister, president of ViroStat in Portland; William Harris, president of MariCal in Portland; and William T. Thomas, chief operating officer at MariCal.
