    Abstract

    "Business Maine" piece reporting that Friends of Casco Bay received first place in the Maine Association of Nonprofits' first annua Dirigo Awards for Nonprofit Excellence. The awards honor nonprofits in the Maine that demonstrate good financial management and planning. Cathy Ramsdell, executive director of Friends of Casco Bay, was pleased to accept the $5,000 prize. Other winners included Coastal Enterprises Inc. in Wiscasset and Schoodic Arts for All in Winter Harbor.
