    Abstract

    Speaking at a World Affairs Council breakfast, Governor Angus King formally inaugurated the new Maine International Trade Center on Congress Street. The Trade Center combines the former Maine World Trade Association, Maine Education Training and Export Partnership, and International Division of the Department of Economic and Community Development. It will also house the Small Business Administration and Department of Commerce. Its immediate foci will be specialty foods, value-added wood products, environmental products and services, precision manufacturing, biotechnology and computer software.
