Abstract
"Business Maine" piece on the EntrePrep Summer Institute, held at Hebron Academy in July. The week-long entrepreneurial summer camp is designed to give high school students the skills and knowledge to start their own businesses. The 30 students, five of whom were from Maine, completed 30 hours of course work on topics like accounting and financing, marketing, and legal issues of small businesses. The session concluded with teams of students starting their own businesses from $50 in "angel funding."
