    Abstract

    "Business Maine: Central & Western" piece reporting that Lewiston-based Falcon Footwear announced a new ownership team and labor contract that will ensure work for its 74 employees over the next five years. Globe Fire Suits of Pittsfield, N.H. bought into the company after being impressed with the quality of Falcon's firefighter boots. Globe will become a minority partner with general manager Roland Landry, manager Neil Hanley and Carl Spang. Last year Falcon recorded about $4 million in sales and expects to double that figure this year.
