Abstract

"Focus: Health Care" piece on Chamber BlueOptions, a new health plan offered by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield that is available to any small business that is a member of the Maine State Chamber of Commerce or any other regional chamber in the state. Anne Verrill, co-owner of Foreside Tavern in Falmouth, signed onto the program in June and calls it a step in the right direction. Gordon Holman of SlickFish Studios in Portland, feels his decision to sign on will benefit his growing company in the long run. With comments by Godfrey Wood, director of the Portland Regional Chamber; Dana Connors, president of the Maine State Chamber of Commerce; and Don Antonucci, director of small group sales at Anthem.
