Abstract

"Focus on the Bangor Region" piece on the "Brewer Waterfront Redevelopment Plan," completed in 2000. The city plans to stabilize the Penobscot River shoreline and build the Brewer Waterfront History Trail along the river. D'arcy Main-Boyington, Brewer's economic development director, and Orono consultant Ron Cote hope the waterfront will attract business and turn the downtown into a walkable center like Portland's Old Port.
